I build founder MVPs in weeks, not months.
20 years of software engineering, now moving at AI speed. For $2,000 a month I become your technical partner. We scope your product, build your MVP, and I stay to help it grow.
2 of 3 spots left for June. Intro rate, going up soon.
Built & shipped
You have the idea. Finding the right person to build it is the hard part.
Most non-technical founders get one of three bad deals.
An agency charges five figures, ships in four weeks, then disappears.
A junior developer works cheap and learns on your product.
Or you vibe-code a prototype yourself that demos beautifully and falls apart the moment real users, real payments, and real scale show up.
There is a fourth option.
One technical partner. $2,000 a month.
I am not a build-and-vanish shop. For a flat monthly retainer I become the technical half of your startup.
We get on a discovery call. We scope your product and build a real plan. Then I build your MVP, usually launched within the month.
And I stay. When your idea changes, when you need a new feature, when something breaks, I am still here. That is the part agencies do not give you and a one-time build never will.
The old way
$5,000–$10,000/mo
A full dev team, for months, before launch.
With me
$2,000/mo
One senior engineer, at AI speed, launched in weeks.
A note on the price. $2,000 is an introductory rate. It is not staying there. I am keeping it low while I take on my first few founders, then it goes up. Join now and you lock in at the rate you start at.
What is included
- Discovery call and full product scoping
- Architecture and technical planning
- Frontend, backend, APIs, databases
- Auth, payments, integrations
- Deployment and infrastructure
- Launch within weeks
- Ongoing partnership: changes, features, fixes
- A technical cofounder you can actually reach
Month to month. No long-term contract.
From idea to launch in four steps.
Discovery call.
We talk through your idea, your users, and what success looks like. No charge, no pressure.
Scope and plan.
I turn your idea into a defined build plan with a clear MVP. You know exactly what we are building before we start.
Build.
I build at AI speed with 20 years of engineering judgment behind every decision. Most MVPs launch within the month.
Grow.
Launch is the start, not the finish. I stay on as your technical partner to iterate, fix, and scale.
I have lived what software costs.
When I was building Bookings Africa, I brought in and led a development team out of India, and it cost $5,000 to $10,000 a month. And that was the affordable version. I hired out of India because the same level of engineer from Nigeria or the West would have cost two to five times more.
That was the reality for years. Real software meant a real team and a real monthly burn.
AI changed the math entirely. The work that needed a team now runs through one experienced engineer at a fraction of the cost. I am not cheaper because I cut corners. I am cheaper because the tooling finally caught up, and I know exactly how to use it.
I have spent 20 years on this. I have led teams on products that cost over $60,000 and took six months to build. I know what real engineering takes because I have done the expensive version of it many times.
Selected work: WeJapa, Bookings Africa, Bounce Radio, Boujee Connect, Zephans & Co, and many more.
What founders say.
“Otoide built Bookings Africa with us and stayed long after launch. He thinks like a founder, not a contractor. When something needed to ship, it shipped, and it held up under real users. I trusted him with the entire technical side and never once regretted it.”
“I just wanted my online store to actually work. Otoide sorted it out quickly and without any drama, and it has run the way it should ever since. When something comes up, he is still there to fix it.”
“Otoide built the backbone of Bounce, our editorial platform and an online radio that streams seamlessly across web and mobile. It just works, on every device, and he has stayed on to keep it that way. Having him as our technical partner has made all the difference.”
AI is only as good as the person holding it.
Anyone can point an AI tool at an idea and get something that looks like an app. That is the easy part. The hard part is everything underneath.
In the wrong hands AI ships a prototype with structural problems, security holes, and no path to scale. It demos well on Monday and falls over the first time real users and real payments hit it.
Twenty years of engineering is the difference between a demo and a product. I use AI to move fast. I use experience to make sure what ships actually holds.
You get senior judgment and modern speed in the same person. No project manager in the middle. No handoffs. No learning on your product.
Questions, answered.
Because your product does not stop at launch. A one-time build leaves you stranded the day something breaks or your idea shifts. The retainer keeps a technical partner in your corner.
I stay on. We iterate based on real user feedback, add features, fix issues, and grow the product. That is the whole point of the model.
Yes. Everything I build is yours, from day one. The code, the repository, the accounts, the intellectual property. You own it outright and you are never locked in.
The standard arrangement is the monthly retainer. Equity conversations happen case by case for the right product, but you never owe upfront equity to start.
No. It is month to month. You stay because the work is good, not because a contract traps you.
It will, and that is fine. The retainer flexes with you. This is exactly why a flat agency contract fails founders and this model does not.
One active founder partnership. I take three a month to keep quality high and stay hands-on with every product. When spots are full, they are full.
As soon as we have a discovery call and a spot is open. Most builds begin within days of scoping.
2 spots left for June.
If you have been sitting on an idea waiting for the right person to build it, this is it.
Starts with a discovery call. No charge to find out if we are a fit. Month to month, no long-term contract.
